Place Value

I start off each year with a review of place value.  Again, I don't always like the book version of a lesson.  Here are my own worksheets and modified activities to start the school year.  The practice sheet starts out easy and gets harder.  I like these type of sheets so I can customize the assignment to each student's ability.

Those students that are bored with Place Value, I teach them math in bases that are not base 10.  This shows they truly have number sense.  It is not so useful in the real world, but they find it fun.  I had a hard time finding any good lessons on non-base 10 math for elementary students, so here is my attempt at making my own.
