Dear Chippewa Valley Schools Parents and Guardians,

This is an important message from Chippewa Valley Schools. We were recently notified by the Macomb County Health Department that our H1N1 vaccination clinics scheduled for November and December have been cancelledThe Macomb County Health Department has cancelled all school based clinics in the county due to a shortage of vaccine.  We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

If you have any questions regarding the H1N1 vaccine, we suggest that you contact your physician or the health department.   For more information about the H1N1 flu you can also log on to our website at www.chippewavalleyschools.org.

In the meantime, we will continue to follow CDC and health department guidelines to make sure we are doing everything possible to keep our children safe and to prevent the spread of flu in our schools.   We ask that parents join us in this effort by keeping sick children home from school.

Once again, on behalf of the Macomb County Health Department, we apologize for the cancellation of our school-based vaccination clinics.

Thank you.

For additional updates on influenza, please check the Cheyenne Alerts page.
