The Big Reds defeat Mott tonight 28-13. Paul Miller passed for 241 yards and rushed for 33. He threw 2 touchdowns and ran for 1. Cameron Wilson rushed for 75 yards and a score. Joe Bastone had 2 catches for 98 yards and a score while Demi Brigham had 2 catches for 111 yards and a score. Connor Hunter had 12 tackles including a sack. Jon Simon and Al McGuire had 11 tackles each. Cody Wylie recovered a fumble. Jake Bednard and Tedell Lewis each had a sack. The Freshman won 41-26 and the JV's won 21-0. Great job to everyone as the Big Reds program sweep the Marauders!!!! The 2010 game against the Dakota Cougars will be billed as "The Battle for Hunger" Game. The football team will collecting canned food and other non-perishables as well as donations for Forgotten Harvest. The game is also supposed to be on State Champs. Romeo game announcementThe Romeo game on September 24th will be a night Chippewa Valley Football will be honoring all of our U.S. Military Veterans and it will be called Veteran's Night. The team will be raising money all week at lunch and at the game for the Wounded Warrior Project which benefits wounded veterans and their families.
