Mission Statement

We, the Iroquois Middle School Community, will provide a safe, supportive, challenging environment that encourages students to reach academic potential, develop respectful behaviors, and become responsible and successful citizens.

Vision Statement

Iroquois Middle School envisions itself as a positive learning environment with the highest expectations for academic success and technological advancement, where everyone will honor and respect the differences and uniqueness of individuals and develop a sense of responsibility.  We expect students to leave Iroquois with the knowledge and tools necessary to confidently meet the challenges of the future.

Belief Statement

We believe education is a life-long process that is successful when:

·         All students are nurtured in a clean, safe, and orderly learning environment.

·         Students are engaged in learning activities that take into account their individual needs, interests and learning styles.

·         Learning stimulates curiosity and is active, enriching, challenging, and applicable to our world.

·         Students demonstrate a strong, consistent effort and commitment to their own learning.

·         Respect and responsibility are learned through consistent accountability, expectations, opportunities, and positive examples.

·         Students are exposed to and accept diversity in our school community.

·         Parents, staff, administrators and the community have a mutual respect and hold high expectations of success.
