<<< These are the results from the 2009 district tournament.

The event supervisor also wrote down some bits of advice that may benefit some schools for the May 9th tournament:

*only use a little powder to run your tests

*place powders on papers provided - don't test the powders in their vials

*work together on the powders since this is the most difficult part

*The vial could contain 2 crystals

*Make sure you and your partner both agree that all parts of the answer sheet is filled out before you say "done"

*be sure to fill in all the yes/no slots

*Be sure to bring your own goggles to the county tournament.

A note from the district event supervisor:

You will note that a handful of the stations did not include samples; pictures were not used to stay consistent with what the kids might expect on the county test.   Spelling did NOTcount on the district test.  I'm not sure if spelling will count on the county test, but I would recommend that ALL TEAMS work on the spelling of the orders and some of the identifying body parts. Better safe than sorry!  Keep studying hard!  We hope to see some Chippewa Valley teams medal in Don't Bug Me in May!  Good Luck!
