<<< These are the results from the 2008 district tournament.

note from the event supervisor (Mr. Judson)::

You have a great group of kids there at CV.  Very polite, organized, and smart!  Had a number of very high scores.....one team had only 2 questions wrong....WOW!!!!  Let everyone know that they will be posting sample questions on the maceso website.  These were questions I used at Utica's workshop. Both the Utica workshop and the questions I used Saturday will be representative of what I'll use next month at County. Some teams need to be more familiar with scantron answer sheets.  Some teams circled the correct answer instead of filling in the circle.  The scantron machine may not pick up your answers if you don't fill in the circle. (This is like a MEAP test answer sheet).

If you need to know generally which questions your students missed on the Charged Up  test, e-mail Ruth Cummins at rcummins@cvs.k12.mi.us   She can't give away the specific questions but may be able to give you some general categories that you can study more.

Note:

Question 7 at Station 15 had a typo.  It had both true/false and a fill in the blank spot.  It should have been "What are this insects larvae called?"  This question (and bonus questions that went with it) was deleted.  That meant there were 132 questions, 19 bonus point, and 7 questions for the final showdown, which we did not have to use.  This has been corrected on the attached test.

Also station 2 question 4 states "All of the insects shown are:" and should have read "All of the samples shown are:"  Since all students got this question wrong, it was not deleted.  It did not effect the outcome of the scores/where the teams placed..  This has been corrected on the attached test.

If you'd like to know which questions your students missed on the Don't Bug Me  test, e-mail Ruth Cummins at rcummins@cvs.k12.mi.us
