MISSION: Seneca Middle School expects students to acquire the knowledge and skills identified in the state standards and in exploratory curricula, and in the process to develop life skills, including respect and responsibility, to become contributing members of society.  Students will demonstrate proficiency in these areas through a variety of assessments.  When students do not meet expectations, we will utilize support strategies and team with parents and students to encourage success.

  • Kiwanis Club Food Drive is currently in progress. Please send in your charitable, non-perishable donations.  Students can drop them off in the collection boxes outside the grade level doors.  Thank you!

  • Seneca’s student council is doing a fundraiser at Uno’s Chicago Grill at Mound and Hall on Thursday, November 19.  20% of ALL sales (all beverages included) including dine-in, carry out, etc., will count toward our earnings. Click HERE for the flyer as a sheet of 4.  Please feel free to cut them up and distribute to your friends and family.  Thank you so much, in advance, for your support in our first restaurant fundraiser.

  • Congratulations to 14 members of our choral department. This past Saturday, they competed against hundreds of Junior High/Middle School students from across the state of Michigan for State Honors Choir and all 14 students were selected. They will be in a concert in Grand Rapids, Michigan on January 23, 2010. What a great job!

  • The main office closes at 4 pm and the front doors of the building are locked.  Students who forget materials in their lockers can access the building through the Northeast door until 8 pm.  Students coming in these doors in the evening should come in with a parent.
